Well, if you couldn’t tell from my recent botanical print update or from the newest holiday items in my Etsy shop, I’m really into a mushroom aesthetic recently.

Any room in my house is home to anywhere between 5 and 10 houseplants. Many of them have names and many of them might be hiding a miniature little gold dinosaur peeking out from behind the foliage. I love adding small touches of whimsy throughout my home and felt these mushroom plant ornaments were the perfect addition.

Welcome November!

While many people like to jump straight into Christmas decor the day after Halloween, I opt to savor the autumn season for a little longer. An ironic thing to claim with a foot of snow outside and a guest bedroom cluttered with Christmas crafts that I have planned for the blog in December.

So, as I remove the spooky spiders, bats, and toads from my Botanical Print Gallery, I’m adding some more harvest-themed prints in celebration of Thanksgiving. I’m definitely not the first person to think of this, but when Pinterest showed me a botanical print of a mandrake on my feed, I felt obliged to update my botanical print gallery for Halloween. I may have already printed out some specifically for Thanksgiving as well. I also might be constantly brainstorming which prints I should try to find for Christmas. Poinsettias? Holly? Why not?

I didn’t swap out everything, but I pulled down some of the more colorful butterflies and flowers and replaced them with more witchy prints. Like toads and ravens and spiders. Keep scrolling for links to the free printables I found.

Today’s DIY Ornament inspiration: Glam Dinos! Featuring a glittering T-Rex angel tree topper.

I have thing for dinosaurs. If you check out my plants, chances are you’ll find a tiny little gold dinosaur sitting in the planter, like it’s hiding in a jungle. They are literally all over my house. So when I was brainstorming ideas for my home office mini tree, DIY dinosaur ornaments were the obvious choice.
