It’s that time of year when we spend our evenings at home carving pumpkins and handing out candy to trick or treaters. I wanted to concoct a witchy libation for these traditions and came up with this Fizzy Blackberry Daiquiri.
Witch’s Fizzy Blackberry Daiquiri
Ingredients
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 oz dark rum
- 1 oz blackberry syrup
- Ice
- Bubly Blackberry
Directions
- To make blackberry syrup, add a handful of blackberries, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water to small sauce pot and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and smash the berries a little to release more juices. Strain.
- Pour lime juice, rum, and syrup into a shaker with ice. Shake for 30 – 45 seconds. Strain into a coup glass. Top with a splash of Bubly.
